A NEW BASE

We are currently in the middle of an evaluation of what we offer and this is a busy and exciting time for us.
We are not currently offering full boat builds as we focus on our Dutch Barge design, but we still have some capacity for occasional refurbishment projects, so do get in touch if you want to discuss your project with us, we're always interested in a boat building challenge!

DUTCH BARGES

Our beautiful Keelson Dutch style barge is now available to order as a kit.
This is a complete package of precision cut steel for you or your chosen builder to construct. It can also be supplied as a fully built shell.
We can add extras such as technical systems design and interior space design.

We are a family business based in the East Midlands and between us we have many years of design and construction experience in making individual canal boats of all shapes and sizes.

Jeremy has been building boats for more than 25 years. His background in violin repair and scenery for TV and film has given his the essential ability to embrace different ideas while attending to detail.

Michelle has been designing and building boats for 20 years and is responsible for many aspects of the business from planning to project management and from prototype building to financial management.
